The perfect homemade cookies for this party are homemade chocolate 50s Sock Hop cookies. These cookies not only look good, but taste great. Although homemade chocolate cookies can be decorated a variety of ways the following recipe will give the cookies as well as your 50s sock hop party an added homemade touch.

Directions for making Chocolate Homemade 50s Sock Hop Cookies
First, preheat your oven to 375 degrees and grease cookie sheet. Then put Ĺ cup of butter or margarine and 1 cup of sugar in a bowl and mix thoroughly until creamy. Next add 2 square of melted chocolate along with 2 eggs and 1/3 cup of milk into the creamy mixture. Once this has been mixed add 2 cups of flour, Ĺ teaspoon of salt and 2 teaspoons of baking powder and then mix well. After this has been completed use a spoon and spoon the cookie dough onto the cookie sheet and bake for approximately 12 to 15 minutes. Once the chocolate cookies have cooled they can be served as is or decorated with an assortment of frosting colors. Once the frosting has been placed on the cookies they can also be decorated with sugar sprinkles and candy toppings such as gummy worms and other items. This simple homemade chocolate cookie recipe will make delicious chocolate homemade cookies perfect for any party.
