Gather those party supplies for this 50th Birthday movie screening event of 1950’s movies starting with 1950. The 1950 movie Abbott and Costello in the Foreign Legion which starred Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. Three more movies from this series will be included in the list of 1950’s movies to be shown at this party. The next movie is going to be Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man for the 1951 movie selection. This particular movie was directed by Charles Lamount who also directed the 1950 listed movie as well. Now we need to find a 1952 movie and it’s not an Abbott and Costello movie, instead it’s The Greatest Show on Earth starring a number of well known actors and actresses. With Betty Hutton, Cornel Wilde Charlton Heston, James Stewart, Dorthy Lamour and Gloria Grahame. Moving onto the 1953 movie selection, which brings back another Abott and Costello movie, this time titled Abott and Costello Go to Mars. Skipping ahead a year for the 1955 movie selection is also another Abbott and Costello called, Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy. This marks the end of these movies and now needing a 1954 one to show so lets go with the Adventures of Robinson Crusoe.
