Creative 60s Retro Invitation Ideas
The 1960s was one of the most creative periods in American history. People were getting in touch with their creativity, by using beads, macramé and tie dying everything. Mirror some of that 60s energy in creative invites to a 60s retro party. You can use printer paper that looks tie-dyed for the invitations or you could use white poster board cut in the shape of a van and put flower stickers all over it with the party info in the windows. Then again, you could use a piece of white poster board with a slit cut in the middle. Insert a bandana for the guests to wear and then write the party information in bright colors on the rest of the piece of paper.

Hand Delivered Party Invites
Hand delivering invitations for a 60s retro party could make you the talk of the town. Dress up like a hippie; go all out with love beads, tie-dyed top, and a long wig with a bandana around your head. Then simply show up at the guest’s home wearing your hippie outfit and hand them the invite. First, they will be shocked and then they will be laughing.

When the party is all over, there is still a way to let the guests know how much you appreciated their coming. Within a week of the party send out thank you notes telling the guests you are glad they came and thanking them.
