Handmade 70s Party Favors

Disco ball is the first thing that people think of when it comes to a 70’s themed party and guests will love disco ball homemade party favors! These disco balls are very easy to make and only take a short amount of time. With a few crafting supplies, these handmade party favors will quickly become a hit at the 70s themed party.

Just having a disco ball is sometimes not enough for some! In this craft, mini disco balls will be designed to hang from car rear view mirrors, on door handles and more. These homemade party favors are just the right size to add a little pizzazz for those areas looking for the perfect touch!

Start off with small Styrofoam balls. These balls can be any size the host wants but keep in mind that they are designed to hang on things so they should not be so big that they are intrusive. 2-3” Styrofoam balls should work perfectly.

Assemble silver glitter in a bowl, about ½ inches deep in the bowl. Cover the Styrofoam liberally with white glue and then roll the ball in the glitter. Sometimes it is easier to add glue to one half, roll it in glitter, let it dry, and then do the other half.

For the final touch to the 70s theme handmade party favors, take a cut of ribbon, tie it at the top and then place it in the center of the disco ball. Take a silver thumbtack and push down into the ribbon and through the Styrofoam. This makes perfect homemade party favors that look great and are easy to do.
