A 75th birthday marks a veritable silver pinnacle in the life of a human being; one that could be made even more memorable with the addition of some festive homemade party games.
Handmade party games at a 75th birthday party should be formal and respectful, while still remaining a whole lot of fun. In the game Your Life on a Silver Platter, guests could be challenged to bring in photos of the guest of honor at work, doing community service projects, with his/her family, etc.; all of which could be arranged on a silver party tray in the shape of the numeral 75. Prizes could go to the guests who bring in the photos judged Funniest, Most Beautiful, Most Sentimental, etc. These trinkets could include silver-hued coins (though they could be made of plastic), candy bars in silver wrappers, shiny rhinestone pins, etc.
Another prime homemade game at a 75th birthday party could be 75 Alive; a game that challenges each guest to share special memories about the guest of honor. Guests could stand in a circle and toss around a shimmering silvery ball that reads “Happy 75th Birthday;” as each person catches the ball, he/she could recite a lively factoid about the guest of honor (i.e., he loves to dance, she is great at softball, etc.) This game is designed to make the guest of honor feel young and vibrant, but also has benefits for the players; the stories or tidbits judged the Funniest, the Most Sentimental and the Best Told will be awarded prizes of candies and trinkets.
