80s GAMES &
Activities

 |
| BRITISH BULLDOG: This game can get rough. All the players (except one) line up at one side of the playing area. The remaining player (The Bulldog) stands in the middle. When he is ready, he shouts "Go" and all the other players have to get to the other side without being caught. Any player the The Bulldog can lift off the ground while he shouts "British Bulldog", joins him in the middle as a Bulldog. On subsequent runs, the Bulldogs may work together. The winner is the last one to be caught. Lots more

80s MENU IDEAS |
 |
80s was a party time when people were going through changing trends in their lives, and their menus. There were also a lot of changes being seen in different walks of life such as in certain types of cuisines enjoyed during this period. People observed the advent of Fast Food Chains such as: Taco Bell and McDonalds to name a few. There were also a lot of other food chains that opened and became a craze for people of all ages.
In order to throw a party with 80s party theme, do a little research and come up with some great ideas for invitation cards, party favors and decorations. Of course, the most important part of your party planning is to finalize the menu that you will be serving. You will want to have 3 courses to your menu. Start with the appetizer, for that you can make Teriyaki Chicken Drumettes, which are simply delicious.
Let us move on to the main course, where you can spice up your 80s holiday party with a Juicy Rib Eye Steak Dinner. Take a large plastic bag and add orange juice, salad dressing, Worcestershire sauce, garlic and hot pepper. Place the steak in the bag and mix it well, leave the steak to marinate in the bag for about two to five hours. Place mixture in the refrigerator. Before the marination time is up, you will need to preheat the grill so that you can start grilling the steak.
When the grill is hot, brush it with a little oil and place the steak on it. Add salt and pepper to taste on the top of it and leave it there for about five to seven minutes, then turn it over and repeat the same process again. Once you have grilled both sides, take the steak off the grill and now sit down and enjoy. You can prepare more than one steak at a time according to the number of guests you are serving. An important tip is to not cut the steak immediately but let it stand for about five minutes so that the juices do not run out of it. For dessert, you can serve your guests baked bananas with ice cream bars. They will simply love the wonderful feast you have prepared for them. By just adding even one simple food item to the menu will help create
a complete 80s theme party feeling. |
