It is hard to believe that the 90s happened so long ago that someone would consider them as a party theme. Celebrating a special event with outstanding performances that include singing, dancing and acting is a great way to keep the guests involved in the celebration. These fun activities are perfect for guests of all ages and will add a great deal to the celebration. More often than not, these performances will be the perfect addition to a fun filled and exciting event. Just look at this list of 90s music: Vogue by Madonna, Touch This by M.C. Hammer, Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana, November Rain by Guns n’ Roses, Creep by Radiohead, Nuthin by a G Thing by Dr. Dre, Loser by Beck, That is the Way Love Goes by Janet Jackson, Waterfalls by TLC, Lightening Crashes by Live, Gangstas Paradise by Coolio, Wonderwall by Oasis, Santa Monica by Everclear, Do Not Speak by No Doubt, What I Got by Sublime, California Love by 2 Pac, Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve, Good Riddance by Green Day, Rosa Parks by Outcast, One Week by Barenaked Ladies, Say My Name by Destiny’s Child, and Higher by Creed. Some of this music came out over 20 years ago.

All of these songs are so different are hardly definable. The 90s was time without real definition or cohesion. There was not one event that brought people together and the music of the 90s is so varied that it is easy to play a bunch of music and have a great 90s themed party with a little bit of everything along with the right party supplies. Inspirational thought: Make sure the camera has batteries that are charged and extras on hand for backup. Simple and well prepared food is often much better received at a gathering than complicated dished that don't quite hit the mark. The right favors given to the guests will allow them to remember that day many years from now.

Throw a 90s party with homemade party supplies taking guests on a blast from the past (not so distance past). Invite guess by sending them 90s themed party invitations from 90s music, movie and TV icons. Once the invitations are sent, the party supplies are next on the do get list. In honor of gaming in the 90s, use only video game consoles for the party. Print out various 90s celebs and hang them on the wall.

Most hosts will find that fun and exciting activities will be a great addition to this fun filled celebration. More often than not fun activities in which everyone can play and participate along with decorative supplies will liven up the event and make it very special. For this reason, planning and organization will be very beneficial for the host. Handmade party supplies for a themed party should also include attire from the decade. Suggest to guests on the party invitations to dress in popular fashion trends of the 90s such as grunge, baggy jeans, flannel shirts, baby doll dresses, big hats, long jackets, blazers, and synthetic leather.

Homemade 90s party supplies can include posting newspaper with famous headlines from the decades on the walls. Take various popular movies from the decade and show them at the party as well. Do not forget to include popular music of the decades also. Research popular 90s dishes to make for the party guests at the 90s party. It is important to take people back to a time (perhaps their young) when the year 2000 seemed so far away.

Planning and organizing a 90s themed birthday party can enjoyable and the addition of a three tiered cake would be perfect for this party. This exciting and fun event is the ideal time for a variety of creative desserts and other tasty treats designed especially for this celebration. These items are always a great addition to a celebration and most often the addition of enjoyable fares that are designed especially for this gathering will make everyone feel very special. The first tier would be a nine inch white cake, the second tier would be an eight inch chocolate cake and the third tier would be a six inch Italian Crème cake. These cakes all could be frosted with buttercream icing, but to add to the 90s theme different icings will be better. The white cake should be frosted with white icing and decorated with candy coated musical symbols from the 90s, on the chocolate cake it should have chocolate icing and decorated with ring pops or other 90s items and the top tier should be frosted with butter cream icing and decorated with candy kisses.

Many people will find a three tiered 90s themed cake to be a great addition to this party. Also, if one prefers just one cake then do a large white sheet cake and decorate it with 90s themed items. This cake can be covered with buttercream or chocolate icing adding a great deal to the overall party theme.

A 90s dance party theme will bring out other 90s party cake ideas. These cakes can be round or square and decorated to look like television characters and themes such as Sponge Bob, Poke Mon and Super Nintendo. Regardless of the type of cake that is make, having a variety of 90s party supplies to support the 90s theme will add a great deal to the party.

The 90s were an era of grunge music, teen angst and generation Xers. Yet it was also a time of rapid change in the global community. dessert Storm was watched by everyone around the world. American President, Bill Clinton served two terms and got caught up in a scandal. The internet truly came into full force during the late 90s and now almost everyone has access to an internet connection.

So how can you recreate the mood of the nineties with a decade party? First, take a walk down memory lane. It’s not important to capture everything about the 90s, which could be impossible. However, you should strive to capture elements of the 90s that were important to you and your guests. Were you in high school? Or were you out in the work a day world earning a living? These two different points of view can result in two completely different 90s parties.

Ask your guests to add to the atmosphere of the 90s party by coming dressed up in what they feel is essentially 90s era clothing. If you want a more corporate themed party tell them to dress up in business type clothes. If you want the party to be a grunge nirvana tell them to come in flannel and torn jeans. If you are still having trouble visualizing what the 90s looked like go ahead and watch some quintessential 90s movies. Look at the style of clothing, the kind of computer equipment shown, what advertisers paid to movie spots. A good series of movies to look at are anything with Paulie Shore and The Wayne’s World movies. These fun items along with cute supplies are always a great addition to a celebration and fun posters that include designs and greetings that are perfect for the celebration will liven up the event and make everyone feel very special. More often than not, these signs and posters will add a lot of fun to the celebrated get together.

Junk food is an excellent way to further the grunge 90s party. Go ahead and put out crackers with spray cheese on them or order from taco bell and make that your main meal. Guests will love it.
