So, you're having an Alien party – well how about some spooky outer-space movies to accompany your party supplies and your little green friends? There are plenty of alien movies out there, dating back to as far as you can remember, but there are a few that will get your alien party right on track!

For your alien party, an obvious alien movie is the movie Alien. Well, that was easy enough! This is perhaps Sigourney Weaver's best known work ever, playing a female astronaut who gets caught up in a lethal trap with an extremely large mother alien. Bear in mind though, this film is extremely scary!

Another alien movie great for your party is Signs. Perhaps not Mel Gibson's finest hour, but a fantastic film nonetheless. Gibson, a small town Father, finds his little farm house under attack by aliens leaving crop circles in his crops. Upon ignoring his children that it's aliens and deluding himself into ignoring the problem, it shortly becomes evident that his ignorance can't go on. This movie is great if you like the idea that aliens really are little thin men with big eyes, so you never know, it might provide some entertainment instead of scares!

A great movie for kids at your party is Monsters vs Aliens. In this funny Disney film, the aliens are the bad guys, while the monsters are the good guys who have to fight them. Don't be fooled into thinking that only kids will love this though – it's a great film for adults too! Light-hearted, funny and with superb graphics, this is a film everyone can enjoy.

Lastly, for some straightforward adult alien fun that isn't a movie, there's nothing better for your party than the TV programme Futurama. Everybody has heard of Futurama, and even if they don't know what it's about, they'll at least know it exists. Filled with weird aliens, robots, amongst others, this grown-ups cartoon is not suitable for children. Be careful though – the humor in Futurama may not be to everyone's taste, so make sure to watch yourself before inviting your guests to watch it as well!
