An Aloha Candle Craft For You! This simple and fun aloha craft idea requires a bit of adult supervision. Save any type of clean wax covered paper container such as milk, or ice cream containers. You'll need standard aloha items such as: • sea shells, sand dollars, and/or starfish • glitter • Tube of Crazy glue • taper candles • ice • melted paraffin wax (adult supervision). Begin by using a paint brush to apply a thin layer of glue to your shell, and sprinkle with glitter. Fill your container loosely with ice, and using your hand, put the shells all around the outer part of the container. Push your taper into the center. If it is too tall, mark and cut it to fit (being sure to cut through the wick) so that it is just a bit above the top. Then, pour warm, melted wax over the ice into the container, and allow it to set up. Remove the carton material, and you have a beautiful Aloha candle! Everyone Loves An Aloha Hula Skirt Craft! An Aloha party would not be complete without a hula skirt! These are simple to make, and there are a variety of ways to make them, but for younger kids' aloha party crafting, this is a great way to begin! Buy Crepe paper in various tropical colors. Begin by laying a strip long enough to tie around a child's waist in a bow (so you can remove it easily later) Allow children to choose colors and randomly glue them onto the strip (use crazy glue in a tube).
