American Chopper Costume

American Chopper is an extremely popular reality show among kids and adults alike and makes for a great theme for a costume party. Getting the venue to resemble the Orange County Choppers workshop would make a great ambiance for a guys’ party, brought together by their common love for the speed machine.

As a homemade costume idea it would be really adorable for a father and son to both dress up as bikers and go as Paul Teutul Sr. and Paulie Junior from the American Chopper series. A Harley Davidson costume would also suit well with the American chopper theme. This is a very easy outfit to throw together at home and looks absolutely delightful on little boys. All you need is a leather jacket with steel zippers, a heavy black leather belt with a striking buckle and a pair of menacing shades. Throw these on to a pair of jeans and black leather boots and your son is set to burn the road. Sew on a logo of Harley Davidson on the jacket for effect.

The girls need not feel left out either at an American Chopper party. A biker babe costume can be just as easily roused up for her as well. Dress up your little angel in a pink tu-tu and a matching jacket worn over a black t-shirt and leggings. A nice touch might be to attaché buckles to the side of the jacket for extra detail. This is a really cute costume among little girls and gives them a sweet look with a slight dash of attitude.
