Barnyard animals are generally one of the first things our kids learn about next to shapes and colors. But facts show that they recognize and relate to the Barnyard animals first. So, with that said you want to throw a birthday party for a young one, maybe they are even still under the age of three? If so history shows us those animals are always a big hit as a theme for baby parties and baby showers as well. So lets see what you can do, there are so many different kinds of animals out there to choose from. You can work with jungle animals and decorate in a safari theme, or go with farm animals and use barnyard décor. Regardless of what you choose with your kids this is one of those themes that you rarely will go wrong.
Again, you don’t have to keep this animal theme restricted to the young kids. This is a great theme for adults, retirement parties make them “king” of the home or office, or you can look in to doing a school dance with animal themes, the jungle theme works, or use animals through out history. Offer different animal facts as they walk in the door and than through out the evening draw different animal names make the person with that fact make that particular animal sound to win a different door prize or something like that. For foods, go through and make different animal shaped foods, or get creative and use foods from the animal’s habitats.
