Try a variation of the Victorian parlor game "The Minister's Cat", substituting the Cat-in-the-Hat instead. Everyone starts to clap their hands in a steady, even rhythm. The point of the game is to describe the minister's cat using adjectives that start with the first letter of the alphabet and continuing through each letter. A player gets about five or six seconds or hand claps to think of an adjective before they are out of the game. So, the first player could say, "The Cat-In-The-Hat is an adorable cat". Any adjective starting with "a" is fine. The next player could say, "The Cat-In-The-Hat is a big cat". Again, any adjective starting with "b" is fine. This goes on until either all the alphabets have been used or there is only one player left. Whoever is left wins. If more than one player is left after "z", they can all be declared winners and receive party favor as prizes. Favors, featuring alphabets in some way would be fun prizes for this game

Pin the Hat on Baby Seuss Dr. Seuss is a game that is quite enjoyable and will be a lot of fun at any party. This game is played like the traditional; “Pin the Tail on the Donkey,” however with a hat. To prepare for this game, you need to trace or make a drawing of, “The Cat in the Hat, if this is not possible, then use a, “Pin the Tail on the Donkey,” and dress it up as the, “Cat in the Hat.” Next, you will need to prepare approximately twenty hat cutouts to use as game pieces. This number may be different depending on the number of guests invited to your party. Once everything is ready, this game will be already prepared for your guests to play and enjoy at your party. To actually play the game, follow the same rules as, “Pin the Tail on the Donkey.” Your guests will be blind folded and then one at a time they will take turns placing the hat on the Baby Seuss Dr. Seuss drawing. This game is a lot of fun, but will take a bit of time as your party guests will turns to play the game. This game can be very funny to watch and also very enjoyable as your Baby Seuss Dr. Seuss party guests take turns attempting to place the hat on Baby Seuss Dr. Seuss while being blindfolded. The person that wins the game is the one that puts their hat nearest to where the Baby Seuss Dr. Seuss hat is actually supposed to be located. Not only will this game be fun, but it will also add a great deal of variety to the party.
