Handmade Bachelor Party Favors

A bachelor party can be tame or hilarious, depending on the crowd, so homemade party favors should be appropriate to the guests attending.

When putting together handmade party favors, keep in mind your audience. If the guys are expecting a wilder type of party, then their favors should be wild, as well. Since a lot of bachelor parties may include a girl jumping out of a cake, you can play with this idea. Start out with a round cake that is about 6” high. You will be wrapping a piece of thin cardboard around it, but it should be decorated just like the cake, as if it was a part of the cake. There should also be a cover on it. Place a Barbie doll inside. She might be dressed, or not. And when it’s time to have the cake, the doll is revealed as an hilarious little joke to the bachelor.

If the party will be more tame, perhaps a sports event type of party, instead, then the bachelor party’s homemade party favors can be in the form of the celebrated sporting event. A glass vase full of golf balls might be a unique centerpiece for the buffet table. Or cartoonish types of golf clubs can be made from skewers and pieces of cooked sausage at the ends. If they are all sticking out of a paper bag that has been dressed to look like a golf bag, these are meaty treats the guys won’t soon forget. There are also football muffin tins, if this is the game of their choice. So, you can make carrot cake muffins that look something like footballs, if you drizzle a bit of cream cheese icing on them for the string on the footballs.
