Handmade Ballerina Party Favors

Ballerina themed homemade party favors can be made to send guests home with something they will remember the party by. Creating handmade ballerina tiaras is fun and adds a wonderful and girly touch to the whole party – as it should be!

The main color for most ballerina themed parties is pink with accents of white. Another popular color choice is a light purple. Each of these colors can be combined with silver to make a wonderful themed look.

Start off with using poster board in whichever color is preferred. Create a template design that works good and then trace it onto the poster board. Sometimes free handing the design on the poster board until getting it just right works well and then cutting it out to use as a template to trace for the rest.

After all of the poster board has been cut out, lay them flat and decorate. Some popular craft items for ballerina tiaras are plastic gems and glitter. The bottom of the crown can also be lined in feathers. Cutting a boa the length of each crown is often times the easiest way to achieve this look.
