A Baltimore ravens party needs more than just Ravens party supplies - it needs MUSIC. The Ravens over the last decade have made a name for themselves by hard-nose defense and physical play. What music is associated with hard-nose defensive and physical play? The answer: Hard rock and metal music. Now everyone is a fan of such music so when throwing a party, include a mix bag of music to please most people. While including hard rock tunes is always appropriate, include Baltimore related songs such as Streets of Baltimore by Gram Parsons, Raining in Baltimore by Counting Crows, Baltimore by Tori Amos, Baltimore by Randy Newman, Streets of Baltimore by O'Malley's March, Bmore Banga by Darkroom Productions featuring Amadaye and DOG, Baltimore by Among Wolves, Baltimore by Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, and Baltimore by The Extra Glenns.

Baltimore Raven music is great but include plenty of Ravens purple and black in the form of tableware items, banners, and balloons. Why not make a few homemade party supplies? Use the power of markers and sheet of paper to make a large raven logo and a centerpiece of ravens footballs and flags. Select a cake that can be part of the theme decoration initially, until it’s time to serve the cake to the guests. At a gathering where there will be small children, consider hiring a babysitter to keep them occupied in another part of the house. Inspire everyone to be creative by setting up arts and crafts workstations with amazing activities from coloring and drawing to finger painting to be taken home.

A Baltimore raven football team cake will surely please any die-hard Ravens fan. There are numerous ways to go about making a Ravens cake such as make the Ravens helmet, logo on a flat surface (football field) cake, multi-tiered cake, using Baltimore Ravens cake toppers, and Ravens jersey with the name of the celebrant with their birth year or age as the number on the jersey. As a basic starting point, use a Baltimore ravens baking pan to form the outline and detail of the Ravens logo. This type of baking pan is ideal for those who do not want to spend an extraordinary amount of time trying to make the Ravens logo and helmet from scratch.

Selecting the type of cake for the Baltimore Ravens theme cake might be the most difficult part in the process. Blueberries are a fitting choice for a Ravens theme cake (Blueberries look purple). Take a simple blueberry recipe and add the necessary frosting the outside of the cake for the Baltimore ravens logo. Other party supplies that will go very well with the Baltimore Ravens football cake are cake toppers, small football goal posts, and small footballs on the cake as decorative touches.

Get together some fellow Ravens fans and friends to have a Baltimore Ravens football party and cheer on the team. A tailgate party is one fun way to have a Ravens party. Arrive at the game several hours early and set up in the parking lot. You will of course need some essential tailgate party supplies such as food, coolers, drinks, and chairs. You might even want to get a Ravens themed tailgate party game, such as beanbag toss with a board decorated with the Ravens logo. A simple football to toss around is also fun to play with at a tailgate party.

If you cannot go to the Ravens game or prefer watching the game at home, you can invite friends over for an at home Baltimore Ravens party. If you are going to watch the game at your party, you might want to have a decent sized television to watch it on, but really you do not have to fork out the money for a new television just for a football party, especially if you have several small televisions to set up.

Whether you have a tailgate Baltimore Ravens party or host it at home, you might enjoy using Ravens decorations to set the mood. Balloons make fun decorations no matter where you have the party. You can use football ones if you cannot find Baltimore Ravens themed ones. You could also use ones in the Ravens team colors of purple and black. Streamers in the team colors and Go Ravens banners also make great Baltimore Ravens party decorations.

The Baltimore Ravens with their purple and gold décor became part of football history in 1995 when the owner of the Cleveland Browns wanted to relocate his team to Baltimore, Maryland. However, because of laws and regulations they were not allowed to use the trade colors of the Cleveland Browns. The Baltimore Ravens had to use a new color scheme, mascot and team décor.

An interesting piece of Baltimore Ravens history revolves around the naming of the team and its mascot. The franchise held a contest to name the team and the winning name was, “The Raven,” after Edgar Allan Poe’s famous poem, “The Raven.” Edgar Allan Poe was a resident of Baltimore and is buried in one of the local cemeteries. In addition to the team name, the mascot is called, “Poe,” and is a large raven.

The Baltimore Ravens are only one of four teams to win their Super Bowl debut. Their Super Bowl XXXV win was against the New York Giants in Tampa, Florida. In addition to winning the game in their inaugural debut, they were also only one of three wild card teams in NFL (National Football League) history to ever win the Super Bowl. As a result of their dynamic 2000 season, winning and tradition have now become an integral component to the history and success of the Baltimore Ravens.
