Homemade BBQ Party Game

Compliment the delicious BBQ food with homemade party games for children and adults to participate in. The location of the BBQ gathering plays a role in which type of party games that can be played as well. Larger party areas will allow party guests to enjoy relay and tag type games. BBQ parties in which the party guests are confined to a smaller area must maximize the space given.

Pin the Bow Tie on the Pig is a fun homemade game for a BBQ party and played just like Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Draw a large pig on poster board and color in as necessary (many cartoon pig images available online), and color in with acrylic paint. Cut out a red bow tie from construction paper with tape on the back. Write the names of the party guests on each bow tie individually in order to keep track who put their bow tie where. The player who can come the closest in placing the bow tie under the pigs chin on its neck is the winner.

Another simple handmade BBQ party game which children and adults can try their hands at is the Cow Chart game. Print out the cow meat chart that labels the parts of the cow. Cut out the sections of the cow and mix around on the table. All those participating should receive their own cow pieces. On go, the player who can reassemble the cow from the cut pieces is the winner. Labeling the cow sections i.e. chuck, brisket, sirloin , rump etc. will help players recreate the cow. The player who can create the cow again correctly is the winner.
