Beach themed parties are fun to collect music for. In fact, among the many beach party supplies available for a beach themed party, the playlist is the easiest to decide on. So many artists have created songs for fun in the sun that picking upbeat and lively songs is literally a click away. When one thinks about it, the beach is a muse to many artists.

You can start out with some older songs such as:
The Drifters – Under the Boardwalk
The Clovers – One Mint Julep
Showmen – It Will Stand
Prophets – I Got the Fever
The Impressions – It’s All Right
Stick McGhee – Drinkin’ Wine Spo-Dee-O-Dee
Band of Oz – Ocean Boulevard
The Astors – Candy
Amos Milburn – Chicken Shack Boogie
The Trammps – Hold back the Night
Hot Chocolate – It Started with a Kiss
Catalinas - Summertime’s Calling Me
Temptations – Lady Soul
Radiants – It Ain’t No Big Think
Temptations – My Girl
The Beach Boys – Surfin’ USA Everyone is sure to sing along to these classics.

And then move on to more recent beach songs such as:
Katy Perry – California Gurls
Kesha – Your Love Is my Drug
Alejandro – Lady GaGa
Eenie Meenie – Sean Kingston featuring Justin Beiber
MIA – Paper Planes Kids will jump to their feet when they hear these modern hits.

No matter which age group you are making a song list for, the old and the new can be enjoyed by all! Music brings people together, especially at these events. So encourage guests to treat the beach as their dancefloor. A box can serve a dual purpose by first being able to hold supplies, but also be decorated on the outside for decor use. Don't be hesitant about asking parents to help out at a celebration for children. With a little imagination and white poster board, crayons, coloring pencils, tape, staples and printed photo images that can be cut, kids can create their own paper hats.

Homemade party supplies such as party streamers, balloon bouquets and costume jewelry will make preparing for a Beach party a lot of fun! These simple but ultra cool accents make all the difference. Whether the party is held at the beach, beside your pool or at a local park, a variety of homemade decorations and handmade party supplies will only benefit this Beach party. Handmade party streamers and homemade table centerpieces add a great deal to any party decor. They add both beauty and festivity to the situation. Then add a few colorful and festive balloons, beach balls and water guns to make your party complete. These beach toys will be the true life of the party.

Therefore, creating handmade Beach party streamers and banners may take a little time, but can have a lasting effect on the Beach party. Just be sure to follow the following instructions very carefully. First of all, take a long sheet of crepe paper and cut four inch wide strips. Then lay one of the strips on a table and run a pencil down the entire strip causing it to crinkle (this may have to be done quite a few times depending on your paper). As the paper crinkles it most often twists and turns, thus creating paper streamers that compare to no other. These handmade party streamers are perfect for decorating and adding a variety of other homemade party supplies will make it look like a Beach party no matter where it is being held. Every venue will become the beach when adorned with these accents.

These homemade Beach party streamers will receive a great review from family and friends.

Creating a beach themed cake for any occasion, including birthdays, wedding parties and more, is easy. It is as simple as a day at the beach (hardee har har). In order to get the right look of sand and that fun in the sun look to match the party supplies, follow the tips below.

Get the beach sand look for your cake: Making the top of a cake, part of the cake or even the sides look like they have sand on them is as simple as brown sugar! Brown sugar not only taste great, it clumps and lays just like sand. Get the look by sprinkling it on lightly or heavily.

Modeling chocolate – create beach themed cake items with modeling chocolate. People, chairs, umbrellas and more can all be made from modeling chocolate. When one thinks about it, chocolate is a staple at every fun event.

Use crisp treats – Using crisp treats, you can create structures such as tiki huts, bars, stools and more. They work great because they are lightweight and easy to mold. What a perfect addition to a light summertime treat!

Shells and other sealife – edible shells or sterilized shells can add a beautiful addition to any beach theme cake. This is perfect for weddings or more formal events. Get creative by making water out of blue gel or even a candy volleyball net. Beach theme cakes work well for just about any occasion and look amazing when complete. Guests will be amazed and impressed by your creative culinary skill. They will want to eat the cake and hit the beach!

Summer, Sand, Surf, Seagulls, Seashells and Sunshine? Ssssso…it's time for a Beach party again! She may sell seashells down by the seashore or have a confining desk job but when the season's right, it's time. Get out the grill or dig some clams, whatever the local favorite, and bring your surfboard because the beach party is the best place in town to eat.

Some may complain about sand in their food but none of the guests will complain about the atmosphere because anything tastes better at the beach. Any budget will allow for a great beach party. If nothing else just pick up some food at the drive through and set up the volleyball net. Even when there isn't a volleyball game the surf provides the entertainment and the sunset provides the view Don't forget to remind all your guests about the surfing opportunity.

Different public beaches have different facilities and rules of using those facilities so it is imperative to check with local parks & recreation departments before grabbing a picnic shelter that might already be reserved for anothers use. That way you'll have use of the barbeques and you’ll be able to create a fun BBQ event. Many parks have recreation centers or sports equipment rental so there shouldn't be any shortage of things available for guests to do on their own dime. If not then maybe it would be best to have guests bring beach balls, horse shoes, and their surfboards. Some might even want to fish, snorkel or sail. It may be possible to schedule your event when another free entertainment like music, sailboat or balloon races are to be presented There may even be a surfing competition. Be careful to evaluate the parking first when this is the plan though! Buy lots of beach and surfing party themed paper party goods to make your occasion occasion better at the Public Park or private beach.

The beach party is a summertime celebration hosted at sunny, scenic locales throughout the world. Any place of ebullience and tropical splendor is perfect. Furthermore, few festivities have such a long and rich history as this frolicking waterside festivity. Let us take a look at the background of the beach festivity.

Some could argue that the first beach parties were celebrated in prehistoric times, tribes such as the Paleo-Indians always sought habitat near the water; so it could be expected that they conducted their tribal celebrations in beachfront areas. Yep, folks, these happenings predated the existence of Frankie and Annette!

Of course, the beach party reached its true prominence in the 1950s and ‘60s, when beach party movies like “Beach Blanket Bingo” were all the rage. Films starring teen idols such as Annette Funicello, Frankie Avalon and Connie Stevens showed the clean, sunny side of the beach party; a festivity that involved swimming, singing, dancing, sunbathing and innocent flirting. They made everyone want to dance in the sun. Real-life beach parties of that time probably had a similar flavor, but sans the well-choreographed dance numbers!

From the 1970s through today, college kids on spring break have typically adapted an edgier style of beach festivity at hot spots like Daytona and Ft. Lauderdale, one that may involve the consumption of alcoholic beverages and the wearing of skimpy swimsuits. These are typically not all ages events at any location. At the opposite end of the spectrum, families and school groups also take to the beach for kid-friendly swim sessions and barbecues; families at these beach parties entertain themselves by playing Marco Polo and other water games, building sand castles, and burying each other in the sand. Everyone knows how to have fun at the beach.

While the character and location of beach parties vary greatly, this type of festivity always guarantees fun under the sun. Plan a beach party today! Gather up some leftover brown packing boxes, wrap them in a matching theme color design and place them throughout the event space for instant decorations. Everyone does not drink alcohol, be inclusive when planning a get-together and have a choice of drinks that include non-alcoholic opinions. Gather up some leftover brown packing boxes, wrap them in a matching theme color design and place them throughout the event space for instant decorations. The history of Beach has different interpretations by each person, so use your own judgement. Share these facts with friends at a celebration.
