Handmade beer piñatas made out of papier-mâché and filled with candies, would be great fun for a party to be enjoyed to the fullest. Beer piñatas are used for adult party games and can be easily prepared.
Some of the key ingredients for homemade beer piñatas are newspaper, cylindrical bucket, circular flat board, craft glue, water, paint, paintbrushes, scissors, twine, wrapped candy and a needle. Start with cutting down a newspaper into strips. Take three cups of glue and mix it with one cup of water in a bucket forming a thick paste. Dip the strips into the glue paste and lay them over the cylindrical bucket, to the minimum of four layers. Let them dry overnight. Similarly, put another four layers onto the cylinder. Prepare a papier-mâché disc fitting the top of the open end of the bucket. Cover the flat board with these four layers and let them dry overnight. Now take the papier-mâché cast from the bucket. This will create the piñata in the form of a beer can.
As for decorating homemade beer piñatas, paint its outside body such that it looks like a beer can. Use the covered end of the can to serve as the top of the beer can, and the open end can serve as the bottom. Insert a string of thread into the needle, sewing two loops into the top of the beer can, such that the loops can be tied securely inside the piñata. This is needed for hanging the piñatas.
Handmade beer piñatas should have them filled with candies and other treats. Close the piñata through separately prepared disc and stick it to the bottom of the beer can piñata.
