Game 1
“Book Charades” Book Party Game: This is a great book party game for older children. Prior to the party, write the names of several well-known book titles and characters on slips of paper. Also gather together a variety of props and costumes items to make acting out the charades easier. Gather the children together and get them to break off into pairs. Choose a pair to start, and hand them a slip of paper. They must try and act out the title or character name using the props available, and sound effects if you wish, but no speech. The first pair to guess the correct answer is the next pair to ‘act out’, and this great book party game continues until all pairs have had a turn.
