Homemade Bowling Party Game

A homemade bowling game is super easy to make a fun party game to play. One of the easiest ways to make a handmade bowling game is by taking soda bottle, filling them slightly with water, with a small ball. The more water the soda bottles are filled with will increase the difficulty level in knocking them down. For smaller children, do not use any water or fill them somewhat. Tear off the labels on the soda bottles and decorate with construction or paint. Paint the bottles white with a red strip around the bottles to resemble bowling pins. Those who do not wish to use paint may consider using white sheets of paper and wrapping it around the soda bottles with tape. Not only can this game be fun but educational as well. Number the bowling pins 1-10. For example, if the 8 and 9 pin are left standing ask the child what 8 plus 9 is or multiple 8 times 9 etc. Write down the number of players and the frames and let the fun begin. if the surface of the ground is too rocky then use a long cardboard box or several pieces and tape together to create a smoother surface to throw the ball on. a long piece of wood should suffice as well. To keep the ball from rolling all over the place use a back stop behind the pins as well or have someone catch the ball. Children love games in which they can win party favors and prizes as well. Offer children the opportunity to win party favors as well such as candies, small toys, and stuffed animals.
