There are several ways you can incorporate educational activities into your bridal shower. Here are some ideas that will keep your party fun, while learning along the way. Have a party guest create a trivia activity to quiz the bride-to-be. Things to include in your trivia activity are: ways to keep the spark in the marriage, what to do when your husband gets upset, how to keep your husband happy, trick questions, anniversary customs, etc. Another way to add educational zing to your bridal shower is to do a mock run through of the ceremony, and have the bride practice averting any number of different crises that could happen on the big day. If she learns to plan for the worse, she will be much better off than if she does not take time to consider the things that could potentially harm her big special day. If you want to educate yourself on your party guests, try an activity like “I never” where each guest will choose something to say like, “I’ve never dated a man for more than 6 months” and everyone who has must take a sip of their drink.
