Brunch Party Conversation Ideas

At a brunch party it is hard to have a conversation with many different people because so often brunch is a seated affair. You could end up sitting next to and across from people that you don’t know and have never met before. If this is the case having interesting things to talk about will help keep the conversation going and will help to avoid any uncomfortable silences that can happen when in the company of strangers. At a brunch party there really isn’t a specific topic that will be more interesting than another. So the best bet is to have some random information that will be interesting to many different people on some random topics. In fact the more odd ball the better as you will be sure to entertain a larger scope of people. Since there is no way of knowing who you will be sitting with try to find out information on several different topics. For example; look up some information on world records that have recently been set, ask neighbor brunch goers if they have experience with video chat or other IM features, learn about some current events; just try to make sure they are not political or religious in nature. It is best to avoid topics that could potentially be hot button issues. A brunch party is not the place to get into a heated debate. Try to keep topics light hearted and issue free. This will make you more relatable to any guest that is next to you at the table.
