Captain America Costume

A Captain America homemade costume will need a blue body suit. If you're looking for some other type of costumer, try the Mad Hatter costume . But for Captain America, a blue bodysuit, the shinier the better, so a satin type stretchy material would probably be best. It can end at the feet, or the feet can also be included in the body suit. The feet will be covered with red, knee-high length boots, anyway.

Across the waist, a wide belt-like attachment will be needed. It should be red and white, the stripes going vertically. Also, a large white star will be sewn onto the chest of the Captain America handmade costume.

Then you will need long, red, elbow-length gloves to match his red boots.

For the head gear, a soft but firm blue material should be molded around the head and sewn at the back. A plain, blue baseball cap may also be used, with the brim cut off.
