A cheerleading party is not complete without pom pons. You can make your very own with a few items around the house and a little effort which make this craft idea great for parties.
Materials You Will Need

• 10 garbage bags per pomp on
• Tape (duct tape or electrical)
• Scissors

First, you need to lay your 10 bags out on the floor. Make sure you do not do this on any surface that you don’t want to scratch up. It is best to do it on tile or concrete. Next, you will want to cut both ends of the bag so they are unsealed.

At this point you will want to fold the bags in half creating the fold as the closed end and the top as the opened end. After you fold the bags, start cutting strips starting at the opened end and then stopping about 5 inches before the fold line.

After you make your cuts, roll the bag up from one side to the other. Using the tape, tape around where you stopped cutting. Make sure you make about 3 to 4 rounds around because this will be the handle.

After you tape, fluff the pomp on by shaking it and rubbing it between the palms of your hands. These pom pons are very durable and something the girls can use while they are at the party as well as take home with them after the party.
