Each player receives the same number of tosses and the player who can accumulate the most number of points is declared the winner. Designate the hat closest to the throwing line 1 point and the furthest 5 points and so forth.

Mexican Kick Ball game is homemade Cinco de Mayo game in which players kick a ball around an obstacle course.

Mexican Hat Dance Relay (Jarabe Tapatío) is a homemade Cinco de Mayo game with deep cultural roots in Mexico. Divide guests into two teams, with a hat at the opposite end of the field for each team. One player from each team runs down to the hat and does the Mexican Hat Dance around it 5 time. The player then runs back to the starting line to tag the next person who repeats the process. The first team to have each member complete the Mexican Hat Dance is the winning team.
