Homemade Clambake Party Game

Pass the Clam is a fun homemade clambake game that requires a stuffed clam or a clam shell. Sit the players in a circle and pass it around. Once the music stops the player holding the clam is eliminated. Continue the game until one player remains.

Battle Clam Shells is on in this fun, yet simple homemade clambake game. Divide teams into two with equal number of clam shells for each player. The game begins when a player puts a clam shell on the ground, then the opponent throws another shell at it, trying to break it. If the player succeeds at breaking it, the opponent must put down another shell. This continues until a player’s shells have all been won by the opposing thrower, or until the thrower fails to hit a shell, or breaks their own. Whenever any of these occur the player loses his or her turn, and must put down a shell for the opponent to throw at. The team who can retain their unbroken shells the longest is the winning team.

Pin the facial features on the Clam handmade clambake is played like Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Draw a large cartoonish like on a large sheet of paper. Cut out facial features such as eyes, mouth, ears etc. out of construction paper. Blindfold the children, spin, and see how close they can come in giving the clam a face.
