Class Reunion Spring-Fresh Hors d'ovres
Class Reunion Spring-Fresh Hors d'ovres were the highlight of my class reunion five years ago, and till this day I have kept them my favorite try them and see how amazing they can be.
Endive leaves, separated
Cream cheese plus another cheese for flavoring (roquefort, goat,
gruyere, or other cheese of your choice)
Fresh herbs (thyme, rosemary, parsley combination is nice)
Garlic powder (just a bit)
Fresh chives (leave in their lengthy state; don't chop)
Red bell pepper
Chop some fresh herbs and set aside. Process together cream cheese and second cheese of your choice. Now cream together in a bowl the cheese mixture, herbs, and a bit of garlic powder to taste. (You may also add some salt, white ground black pepper, or even cayenne pepper if you like.) Put into a pastry bag and fit with an attractive piping attachment (I use the "scallop edge" attachment). Pipe the cheese in a line along the length of the endive "boat". Do this until all endive leaves or cheese mixture is used. Now top off each by placing on top of the piped cheese length: 1 strand of chive (cut shorter as necessary), a bit of minced red bell pepper, and a small strip of smoked salmon. Place all "boats" on a lined cookie sheet, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate until ready to serve. Very attractive & quite artistic.
This recipe was given to my by a former teacher that had great cooking skill I acquired this lovely recipe by her and have enjoyed it so much, its my parties favorite dish.

match the celebration.
The Class Reunion is a very exciting time for all the old classmates to get together and to have a menu of fun. At this Class Reunion friends will be talking about the good old times and living them in the present. In order to make a party successful there has to be a lot of planning. The success of the party lies in contacting the classmates, wherever they are and whatever part of the world they are in and asking them when they would be available and urging them to try to be a part of this wonderful evening. Again, this is not an easy thing to do because it requires one to do investigative work and find out where everyone is.
To make the Class Reunion party successful, planning and managing is the key. The tasks at hand are not responsibility of any one person but should be distributed among different individuals to make sure that all the aspects of this party are pulled off on time. It is best to start working on the party at least two months in advance so that a clear picture of what needs to be done can be seen. That way, it will be clear as to how many would be able to attend the gathering. Arrange the party venue, videos from the old times in school, music of that era. These are all interesting ice breakers. Then plan the party menu, as this is an really important part that needs to be thought out very carefully.
The menu that you can introduce at the Class Reunion party can be divided into different items. These are: main items, side dishes and desserts. The main items you can select from are: hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad, sandwiches, BBQ chicken, pulled pork, BBQ ribs, etc. For the side dishes you can select from: coleslaw, potato salad, tossed salad, baked beans and macroni salad. For desserts, you can have cookies, brownies, fondue etc. It is best to keep the menu as simple as possible and it would also be good if the food could be carried around and eaten while discussing current events and what's going on in each others lives. Happy Class Reunion. By just adding even one simple food item to the menu will help create a complete Class Reunion event mood.
