Class Reunion parties are definitely a time when everyone wants to look their best, and feel successful. When you want to host a Class Reunion party, here are some ideas to make sure that the party stays fun, and your guests are making use of educational activities. Before the party, or with the invitation make sure to ask that everyone brings a childhood photograph of themselves. Then, at the party, everyone can guess who the person in the photo is, and the person with the highest number of correct answers is declared the winner. Alternatively, you can use the high school photos in conjunction with the childhood photos to make a correlation between the childhood photo, the high school photo, and the person in attendance. If anyone is in attendance that was voted in the Superlatives, compare them to what they were voted for, as a fun activity to see how correct the class predictions were. Another activity you can do that will help you learn about yourself and the other people at the party, is to find out where they are today, in terms of family and profession. Then, you can share your thoughts on the subject as a group, "I would have never thought that Suzie would grow up to be a Doctor, because I always thought she would be a dancer…" and those sorts of things. It will be a great experience to re-identify with those you kept close in school; and you may even be able to make some new friends from your old ones.
