The Cleveland Browns are an enduring team that is clearly worthy of a top notch, stadium-sized trivia party. Plan a fun—and educational--Browns blow-out today!
Perhaps the most surprising bit of Browns trivia concerns the team’s signature color, which—startlingly enough--is closer to orange than brown. And many people don’t know that the team is renowned for its philanthropic programs, including the team’s A Crucial Catch program, which encourages women to undergo regular breast cancer screenings.
Of course the Browns are also known for their accomplishments on the football field. The team has swept eight league championships, boasts no fewer than 16 members in the pro football Hall of Fame, and have sent many more (including classic players such as Jim Brown and more contemporary players like Joe Thomas, Derek Anderson, Joshua Cribbs, Braylon Edwards, Kellen Winslow and Ryan Pontbriand) to the Pro Bowl. The team’s current head coach is Pat Shurmur.
Since the inception of the Cleveland Browns in 1946, the team has played at the same site on the shores of Lake Erie. From 1946 to 1995, the team’s home was Cleveland Municipal Stadium, where the Browns won all eight of their league championships and hosted 17 postseason games. At the same location, the beautiful (and very high tech) Cleveland Browns Stadium was opened in 1999.
Help friends and football fans beat the blues with a Browns party; one that is simply brimming with useful information about the team, its origins, as well as its many great accomplishments. Go Cleveland Browns!
