Combining cocktail and costume parties together can be a great way for cocktail connoisseurs to have a good time dressed up in a nice costume, maybe one that’s even homemade. The idea of a costume and cocktail party isn’t new, though. Making up a homemade costume, when the theme is from one of those two decades (the 50s or the 60s) is as easy as looking at one’s closet or checking out the clothing that’s probably still possessed by a grandparent or even a parent, depending on how old the person attending cocktail party will be. There are also numerous clothing items from that era that can be found fairly easily at discount thrift clothing stores and the like, so keep that in mind as well.
