Construction Costume

A construction themed costume is not very common during Halloween or any other party for that matter. So you can be assured it your look will be out of the ordinary if you choose this theme. Here are a couple of ideas for how you can dress up to fit the construction theme.

How about trying on a costume of a brick layer? This is a fairly simple homemade costume consisting of a simple navy blue jumpsuit. It also comes with a matching cap and a trowel to carry around as a prop. The brown belt contrasts beautifully with the blue of the suit giving it a real stylish look. This costume can make you look quite handsome if worn right and you might catch the eye of some of those pretty girls at the party! Best of all the back of the suit has the following words printed in bold “Dick Fitwell’s Brick Layers – Best Lay in Town!” Woh! The host and the other guests will certainly not see that one coming!

Another innovative idea in the construction theme is to dress up as something very common in the industry like Venetian Blinds. Wondering how you could possibly make a costume for that? Well by playing around with the words of course. Take it literally and dress up as a Blind man from Venice! This can easily be achieved by wearing a black and white striped tight T shirt over black pants and adding a dash of color with a red scarf around the neck and a red sash around the waist. Do not forget the blind man’s white walking stick and dark glasses of course.
