Curious George Chocolate Cherry Cake

As children love sweets it’s always nice to reward them from time to time and to do so, this Curios George Chocolate Cherry cake can be great for that purpose. Surprise your baby with this delight and you should invite some of his or hers friends to enjoy this amazing Curious George Cherry Cake.

Ingredients
1 box of Moist Chocolate Cake mix (Duncan Hines Brand, is what we use)
2 cans of white vanilla frosting
2 cans of cherry pie filling
Directions:
Mix and bake cake mix according to instructions. Use 3 round cake pans to create "layers". Remove from oven when finished and cool. After layers have cooled, it is time to assemble the cake! Place bottom layer down, frost. Spread cherry filling over top and place another cake layer on top of that. Repeat with frosting and cherries. Remember to not over do it with the cherries, because otherwise the layers will "slide". When you get to the top cake layer, frost and then spoon a circle of filling in the center. Along the outer edge of the cake make a "border" of cherries. You can also do this on the bottom of the plate as well for a decorative border. Refrigerate and serve when ready! Enjoy!

Filling The Yellow Hat: The famous man in the yellow hat is part of this game. The object is to drop items into the yellow hat from a distance.

Setup:
1. Make or buy a yellow hat (large enough so items can drop into it).
2. Get items that can be dropped such as monkey beanies, Curious George cards stuffed bananas and more.
3. Have small prizes for kids to win such as crayons, stickers, etc.
4. Place the hat at a lower point than where you will be standing. An example would be to place the hat on the ground and stand on a deck.

Playing:
Have each child take turns standing above the hat and having 3 chances at a time to toss something into the hat. Each time a child makes it into the hat, give them a small prize.
