Handmade Disco Party Favors

The ultimate party music, Disco has inspired more than its share of fun parties; not to mention a groovy assortment of handmade party favors.

When it comes to homemade party favors at a Disco party, a disco ball is the obvious choice; ah, but it is how you prepare and present this symbol of the seventies that make it a true memento of the disco era. A host can bake some doughnut holes and coat them with silver or metallic icing, or with bright silver food sparkles to create the same effect. Or she could take a silver yarn ball and paste on some sparkles or faux gems, creating small disco balls to give to guests.

For other fun handmade party favors, the host could take posters from popular disco movies like “Saturday Night Fever,” superimposing photos of guests’ faces on the bodies of the films’ stars.
