The history of the Disney gang is a very long one. Mickey himself made his debut in an episode of a cartoon named Steamboat Willy in 1928. This date eventually became known as Mickey Mouses official birthday. Mickey himself has already starred in over 120 individual cartoons as well as a lot of episodes of The Mickey Mouse Club that has also been responsible for bringing forth such great talents as Justin Timberlake as well as many others.
Disney gang facts include the addition of many other cartoons as well including Donald Duck who made his first official debut in a cartoon named Silly Symphony in 1934. Donald who retained a youth like stubbornness as well as full display of wild temper tantrums quickly became a favored cartoon in the public eye. Donald eventually earned his own comic strip for his antics.
Their history goes much further with the addition of Goofy and Pluto who were both drawn up originally as dogs. The difference being that Pluto was intended for interaction with the Disney gang as a pet, while Goofy was intended to be a Disney gang member himself. Other characters to round out the Disney Gang include Minnie Mouse as well as Donald Ducks girlfriend who was known as Daisy Duck. This full cartoon gang went on to create many cartoons as well as movies and a rich investment in toys and other forms of entertainment to children. The Disney Gang lives on today in a large variety of spin offs that sprung from this original crew.
