Disney Cars Party Decorations

Throwing a Disney Cars themed party for a little fan is a fantastic way to celebrate a birthday surely. There are numerous Disney Cars crafts projects to select from such as homemade road signs. Before the guests arrive, have the birthday boy or girl help in making road signs such as Stop and Yield. Also, create a welcome banner that greats guests. What a better way to add entertainment and fun to a celebration than to give the guests the chance to create something using their own craftsmanship or do another type of fun activity? Most hosts will find that this can be done many different ways depending on the age of the guests. For this reason, planning in advance will prove to be very beneficial to the planning of this event.

Disney Cars need gas Ė here is a simple arts & crafts gas pump children can make.
Aluminum container or small tea bag box (5 inches tall and 3 inches wide preferably)
Several large black buttons
Bendable plastic drinking straw
Small binder clip
Construction paper in shades of white and blue
Thin cord or string
Glue sealer that dries clear
Aluminum foil
Markers to write text or small stick-on letters
Cover the tea bag box with the lighter shade of blue paper, using glue sealer to stick the paper in place and then to coat the entire surface. Let the glue dry. Use glue dots when applying art materials.
Centering and glue shapes of the light blue paper on top of the darker blue paper. Light blue paper should be a little bit smaller to see the outline of the blue paper.
Glue the white sale panel atop the foil trim panel. Have children what they want on the front of the pump such as Gas or Johnís Gasoline (have them write their own name on pumps).
Seal the complete panels with glue on the tea bag box. Decorate the pumps as the children want with foil and buttons.
For a gas hose and nozzle, cut a 3-inch length from the bendable end of the drinking straw. Knot one end of the cord and thread the other end through the straw, pulling it that the knot lodges inside the straw.
Glue the un-knotted end the cord end to the lower side of the gas pump; cover it with a button.
Attach a binder clip to the upper side of the gas pump and slip the straw nozzle through the loops of the wire arms.
