This is one thing that can offer a great party starter or theme among the kids and when it comes to planning a school event or party having a dog can be used to your benefit. As you get ready for the event if you have pets of your own and a dog educate the kids of the history of dogs and how they became to be known as mans best friend. That is something that will help you along the way with keeping their interest. If you are having a pet or dog party at home use that to your advantage as well, have dog tricks and facts ready to use as a Snoopy themed trivia game for the kids and you can throw a pet and dog show.
If you decide to go through and have a backyard or rented venue Snoopy dog and pet show you will be able to send out invitations from your dog to the other dogs asking THEM to bring their owners (not the other way around) and refer to it as a modeling or fashion show for dogs, and yes you can give out first second and third place awards trophies or ribbons to the kids and their pets.
