Election Day PARTY CRAFT IDEAS

Election Day is a time when we can sit back and enjoy the future of our country. With that said, there are many crafts that we can do to celebrate the day. One of the most popular crafts to do on Election Day is to make buttons. This shows our support for our favorite candidate.

What You Will Need:

Plastic button mold
Poster board
Paint or markers
Glitter
Scissors
Pencil

You and your guests can have fun decorating the buttons however you would like. You can even have some pictures of the candidate and glue them on there. This also works really well for Election Day parties that are for local high school candidates.

Overall, this proves to be a fun craft for all ages on Election Day. If you get creative, you can even attach two pieces of ribbon onto the closure and let them hang down. This adds a little more to the button which makes it stand out.

Craft tip: Make sure that each part of the button is dry. This is especially true if you are creating a button that involves a few different layers. If you will be using glitter, make sure you put it on last so you do not run your hand into it when decorating other areas of the button.

When you are finished decorating the button, simply snap on the bubble top and you are ready to go. If you want, you can include a lose item in middle and let it move around freely which adds a whole other level to button making!
