Homemade Election Day Party Game

Celebrate Election Day with great food, friends, family, and plenty of homemade party games for the guests enjoyment.

Pin the Stars on the Donkey or Elephant is a fun homemade game in which players must place stars (cutout from white construction paper), inside the Democratic Elephant or Republican Donkey. The player who can place their star inside the donkey or elephant completely is the winner. Make the stars small enough so they can fit inside the donkey or elephant but not too small making the game too easy.

President match is a simple handmade game that requires players to know former presidents faces. Print out 10 presidents on a sheet of paper with the their names, out of order, next to the pictures. The players must match the names to the pictures as fast as possible. Set a time for two minutes or so. The player who matches the correct names with the pictures the fastest is the winner.

Election Day Phrases Game is played by printing out a sheet of paper with popular election day phrases such as too close to call, we are now projecting, the polls are now closed etc. Give a list to each of the guests or write the list on a large board. Once the phrases are said on television the players must yell Election! And the first player to do so earns a point. The guests who has the most points at the end of the evening is declared the winner.
