| ENGAGEMENT NAME THAT NUMBER GAME: Give everyone a piece of cardboard with their name written on one side, and a number on the other. Have everyone keep the number to themselves. Ask the party guests to introduce themselves to as many people as they can in a certain amount of time. Then, towards the end of the evening, ask everyone to flip the cards around so that their number is showing. Everyone then gets a piece of paper, and has to try and correspond the number to the person’s name. Lots more

Engagement MENU IDEAS |
 |
All young girls dream of the moment they can celebrate their Engagement. After the tear jerking romantic proposal it is time to celebrate the life that two people will be sharing once they become married.
Throwing an engagement party for friends or family members is a lot of fun. Make sure to set the mood with a wonderful bridal shower menu. Serve engagement onion rings, betrothed cupcakes and fiancée crème fraiche asparagus.
To make betrothed cupcakes for the engagement party start with1 1/4 cups all purpose flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 12 egg whites from large eggs ( enough for 1 1/2 cups), 1 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract. Next, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cupcake pans with paper liners. Place egg whites in a large mixing bowl and beat at high speed until egg whites are frothy, approximately 1 minute. Add cream of tartar, salt and vanilla to egg whites. Mix at high speed until egg whites are almost stiff, approximately 4 minutes. Add 1 cup of sugar gradually while mixing on low speed. Scrape bowl. Mix flour and remaining 1/2 cup sugar together and spoon 1/4 of mixture over egg whites, folding gently between each addition. Pour batter into cupcake liners until they are 2/3 full. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until tops are golden brown and cracks are very dry. Cool cupcakes completely before removing from pan.
These dishes are certain to make the engagement of loved one a moment to remember. By just adding even one simple food item to the menu will help create
a complete Engagement theme party feeling. |
