	Fifties PARTY CRAFT IDEAS
The Fifties is an easy party to throw together with some rock and roll music and a group of guests who are willing to relive the good old days! Do you remember how crafty projects were all the rage? Well, set up your own craft project with the guest by making some fun magnets for your refrigerators. Refrigerator Magnets To make your own refrigerator magnets you’ll need the following: 9 plastic bottle caps, 2 googly eye buttons or black permanent marker to draw eyes, glue, yellow felt, and small round magnets. Start making your own Fifties craft magnet by applying glue to the tops of your bottle caps and pressing them onto the felt. Let dry then cut out the bottle caps with their felt circles on top. If you wish you can cut small strips of felt for the sides of the bottle caps and glue those on to completely cover the bottle caps in yellow felt. However, covering the tops is good enough. Next, take your two googly eyes and glue each onto two of the felt covered bottle caps. Let dry. These will serve as the eyes. Finally, you’ll glue the magnets to the insides of each of the nine bottle caps. Let these dry very well. Once they are dry you have the makings of your very own fifties style smiley face magnets! There are many other kinds of objects and shapes you can make with homemade bottle cap magnets. Try your hand at a pink poodle magnet set with pink felt covered bottle caps. Or you can create a flower out of bottle cap magnets. No matter what you attempt to make at your party, be sure you have enough supplies for all of the guests to make their own magnet sets at your Fifties Party!
