Finding Nemo has a rich history and background as a 2003 computer animated top notch film. This screenplay written by Andreew Stanton as well as directed by him and his college Lee Unkrich , was produced by Pixar. This story tells of a wildy protective clownfish named Marlin, whose voice comes from Albert Brooks.
The story also includes an inquisitive and hyperactive fish known as a real tang and in the case of this one in particular, named Dory. Dory is voiced by talk show host Ellen DeGeneres. The story involves Marlins search for his son Nemo who is played by the voice of Alexander Gould. The overprotective father fish learns along his journey to let Nemo begin to start taking risk and to stop being so overprotective so that his son can grow to take care of himself. Nemo proves himself scarily capable or just incredibly lucky in his narrow escapes from many of the stronger predators of the ocean.
This film will likely always have a history due to its positive reviews and its ace win of the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. This epic animation grossed well over 864 million dollars worldwide. Additionally, it was also the second highest grossing film of the year of its debut in 2003 and only behind the equally epic Lord of the Rings. With over forty million copies of its DVD sold it is absolutely the best selling of all time. Even the American Film Institute dubbed it one of the 10th greatest animated films ever made.
