Who doesn’t stop and look when they see the fire engines go blaring by with their fire truck lights and sirens screaming? There are several little boys and girls out there that dream of getting on that fire truck and becoming a hero one day. We need to get those hopes and dreams of our kids alive. This year when you plan a New years or birthday party make sure to remember that fire engine red truck flying by and seeing your childs eyes light up. So when you plan the party has fun facts ready about the engines the different kids, hoses and ladders.
The fire engines have a great history to them and the fire trucks also come in many different styles and they all serve their own purpose on the fire department. If you have a local volunteer fire dept see about taking your little party guests up to see the engines and having a the fire Chief answer questions and fill their heads full of fun fire engine facts and information. As you get home from the excursion you can have food ready for them, different ‘hot foods’ and in the back yard have the water hoses and water guns ready. As you send out invitations you will be able to ask for the parents to send rain coats and as a fun party favor get little red plastic fire hats or mini fire trucks for the kids to take home. If you need more ideas, let them color and draw different fire engines to take home with them as well.
