When you put together a Fireman themed party for the kids and your adult guests you may want to make it Hot! As in plenty of hot and tasty treats for the menu. There are lots of spicy dishes to choose from, but you may wish to follow the buffet we've put together.
Both a Fireman party menu and a Fire Engine party menu for your friends and family should be suitably hot and spicy. A taco bar should do the trick. Serve up everyone’s favorite taco toppings and then some for this hot event. That means plenty of ground beef, pulled pork, spicy chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheeses! Don’t forget the sauces like guacamole, hot sauce, taco sauce and sour cream. An essential side dish for your taco buffet has to be the Spicy Red Refried Beans and of course Spanish Rice.
Spicy Red Refried Beans are simple to make for that Fireman party. You’ll need; a can of refried beans, one jalapeño pepper, butter, cheese, taco sauce or red sauce. Open the refried beans and place in a pot and simmer. Add to this three pats of butter and several dashes of taco sauce or red sauce. Mix well. Clean the Jalapeño and slice open. Remove seeds and stem. Dice up remainder of pepper and put in with the beans. Stir up and serve when thoroughly warmed. You may want to place a dollop or two of Sour Cream on top for a cooling flavor.
Now that you've got a great menu plan for your Fireman party you can get out the music and dance all night long! Or if you've got some little ones at the party put out the sleeping mats and let them conk out in sleepyville while you and your guests watch some hot Fireman movies. Have a great time! By just adding even one simple food item to the menu will help create
a complete Fireman theme party feeling. |
