First Communion Party Conversation Ideas

A First Communion is a very exciting time for both the child and the parents. It is a rite of passage for young children who make a commitment to their faith. It is a very festive event with formal wear in most cases along with music, dance and plenty of photographs! Along with photographs, there are other parts of a child’s First Communion that they and guests will remember. Their memories will stem from conversations that were had with family and friends and the things they did.

Almost every child appreciates a game, no matter what age they are. Among the talking, family and friends can come together for a little trivia or even some quizzes for world records and such. The child whose first communion it is, if old enough, can select what they would like the trivia to be about. It could be about their favorite hobby or even about their religion. It can be whatever they would like. They can choose to officiate the game, or, they can choose to play.

Keeping the talking going at a First Communion party is essential. You do not want the party to fall flat so make sure there is plenty to do. Usually, however, there will be enough conversation to fill additional hours even after the party is over!
