There are many fraternity movies that bring Toga parties, nerds, gross-out gages, and many other frat experiences to the public. Animal House (1978) takes place in 1962 at the Delta Tau Chi Fraternity at faber College. John Belushi's and the other misfits of Delta House use food fights, dead horses, toga parties to fight the straights and administrators of the school in this gross out comedy. Stars include John Belushi, Karen Allen and Tom Hulce. Revenge of The Nerds (1984) is about a group of college geeks trying to earn their stay on campus while battling the jocks. Ted McGinley and his team of jocks kick them out of their dorm, the nerdy misfits unite to take a stand against the bullies. Starring Timothy Busfield, Curtis Armstrong, Julia Montgomery, Bernie Casey, and John Goodman. Dead Man on Campus (1998), while not a frat movie per say, is about two college students who find out that if their roommate dies they get an A and decide to find someone who is on the brink. Old School (2003) starring Luke Wilson and Will Ferrell try to recapture their youth by starting a fraternity. Going Greek (2001) is about former high school football star Jake who is coerce into pledging at the coolest fraternity in his university in order to help Gil, his nerdy cousin. As the frat brothers try to throw out Gil, Jake recruits fellow pledges to help him out and the typical frat hijinx ensue.

Fraternity movies are generally fun romps with good laughs and not to be taken too seriously. Fraternity parties, while outrageous, are some of the best types of parties because of the varying themes, party supplies, and decorations. Those who have the opportunity to attend a frat party should not miss it.
