Homemade Garden Party Game

Having a garden party with homemade games is a great theme in which children can have fun while learning a thing or two about gardening and nature in general.

Find the Seeds is a simple homemade garden game in which player must find the small bags of seeds hidden around the party area. Fill the small bags with a variety of seeds that the children can take home and plant once found. The child who find the most bags of seeds is the winner.

Pin the Wings on the Bumble Bee is a handmade garden game that will have the party guests buzzing in excitement. Draw a cartoon bee on a large sheet of paper or poster board and color in with markers or paint. Cut out the bee’s wings from construction paper and clear cellophane to give the wings an added dimension of life likeness.

Watering Can Relay Race homemade game is played by setting two water cans at opposite ends of the play area. Divide the party guest into two different teams. Have each team race to an empty washtub and fill with water, return the empty watering can to the next one in line. Then refill it from a clean trashcan filled with water. First team to fill the washtub wins.

Musical Flowers is a homemade garden game played just like Musical Chairs but with a light variation. Instead of using chairs players must find flowers, cut from construction paper, to stand on when the music stops.
