G. I. Joe Party Conversation Ideas

Everyone's favorite miniature military heroes are now showing up at birthday parties everywhere! At a G.I Joe party, kids can play with G.I Joe, play G.I Joe games and even dress up in army fatigues. While the kids are having a nice time, adults can talk about their boys and how much they love G.I Joe. You can also talk about your own G.I Joe memories from childhood, or any other toys or cartoons you liked during childhood like Thunder Cats, Tom and Jerry, or whatever was popular during that decade.

You can also talk about the movie “G.I Joe: Rise of the Cobra” starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Dennis Quaid, that was released in 2009. “G.I Joe: Retaliation,” which will star big name superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and possibly Bruce Willis is scheduled for release in 2012.

The conversation may turn to talking about the military. You can kibitz about your military experience, or any friends or family members you have serving in the military. Just keep the conversation as friendly as possible (Translate: Avoid heated debates. It's a child's birthday party after all).

Also of course, you can talk about current events in sports, entertainment and politics, which always gets people chatting. Research these things on the internet, or try to recall any interesting conversations or IM chats or video chats you've had recently. Bits of interesting information like facts and news can make for good conversation points at the party.
