What should a Glee cake look like? A glee cake should be simple yet Glee-rific. Cut out Glee letters from red, yellow, or any Glee color and apply them to the top of a cake (preferably covered in various colored fondant squares). For decorations on the side or on top of the Glee cake use musical notes.
Another option for a Glee cake is one which is representative of William McKinley High School (WMHS). Print out the WMHS letters on a sheet of paper and place the paper over a flat sheet of cake. Take the colored fondant and make the shape of the letters. The first layer of fondant should be black to be applied on the cake, then white then the final layer are red letters. A more sophisticated cake would be to replicate a William McKinley High School cheerleading uniform. The cheerleading uniform can be either life-size or scaled down to a more doable size. Cut out the cheerleading uniform from several cakes and apply fondant or buttercream on top of the cake. Use fondant to make the WMHS letters and other designs on the uniform.

Glee is an incredibly popular TV show with numerous awards, records and most of all fans. Plan a Glee party and your friends will be singing with joy...sorry couldn't help it. Start with the invitation; if your guests are as today as the gleeks then try sending the invitation as text messages, or on your Facebook wall. If you are a little more old school then send invitations shaped like musical notes. Ask the guests to come dressed like they did in high school or like a character from Glee. The decorations are going to be the fun part of getting ready for the party. Mentally divide the party area into sections and then decorate each section like an area of a high school. Most hosts will find that from making a guest list to preparing the food, having a plan will make the celebration go off without a hitch. Simple hostess tip: Prepare for the entire celebration in advance and avoid adding any extra commitments or stress on the hostess during the preparation period. Use double sided tape to put up signs on the walls the read things like Spanish club meets at 3:15 PM on Tues in room 203 and “There will be an assembly Wed. morning at 10 AM in the auditorium. Put teacher's names on inside doors and on one put a sign that says Principal's Office. In one area put out music stand and /or scatter sheet music around for the Glee club music room. If you have any sports’ equipment put it out as decorations; helmets as well as football and basketballs works well.
