Handmade Glee Party Favors

For the Gleek in your family, handmade party favors will set off a Glee Birthday party nicely. Start with the logo of the hand making an “L” shape on a splatter of paint. It can be blue, red, or yellow paint, and several of these can be created by taking a picture of your own hand making the L sign, then they can be enlarged and cut out. The splatters can be done with colored foam pieces, and they don’t all have to be the same exact splatter design. Just glue the hand photo over the splatter designed foam piece and add the letters to complete the word “Glee.” If you place these strategically around your party room, they will very much add to the festivities.

Handmade party favors are always appreciated, as they are created from love. It shows that you care enough to contribute in a personal way. Musical notes, stars, microphones, and more can be created from colored foam, black poster board, or neon sheets of paper. When they are displayed for all to see, it will be obvious that this is a Glee party.

A karaoke portion of this party would be perfect, so be sure to provide handmade party favors in the shape of a microphone. If each party guest is supplied with a mike that you’ve made yourself, it may seem silly but they will all get into a special sing-along that you have also thought up. Just list some songs on a sheet of paper, have each guest choose one, and they can sing it alone or together as a group, and they’ll have a blast.
