Another great kid show for the history books came in the form of the show Go Diego Go! This animated program for preschool children was begun as a spinoff of the original Dora the Explorer show. Additionally it aired on Nick Jr on CBS as well. Also since 2008 the show has been translated into Spanish to be shown in the US on Univision. Most people are amazed at the history behind many of the shows from the present and past. Like others before them the times of past and the recordings are often as interesting now as they were many years ago. For this reason, fans of the show have held strong and their popularity has continued to grow.

The history of the series features a young boy named Diego Marquez who is voiced by Jake Austin. This character goes out of his way to help animals who may be in danger. Most often this occurs in the rainforest. He has a very famous cousin who is known as Dora the Explorer and a constant companion in a jaguar named Baby Jaguar. His trusty friend always assist him on any adventures he sets out on. Baby Jaguar is voiced by Thomas Sharkey. Thomas Sharkey also does the kangaroo named Austin in the series the Backyardigans.

Baby Jaguar also has a bit of a history himself as he occasionally and randomly makes appearances on Diego's cousins show Dora the Explorer. However, he never has a speaking part on her show. On Go Diego Go he plays a much more active role in assisting his trusted friend throughout his adventures. Diego has one serious weak spot that all of his enemies know of. He is extremely and thoroughly ticklish, just as his grandfather was said to have been.
